I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Maryland and received my education in the healing arts from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) in Laurel, Maryland. MUIH requires over 2,400 hours of combined clinical and classroom experience. I am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University and previously worked in the Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview assisting my clients to return to the workforce.
As a result of treatment with me, people experience a reduction in physical and emotional pain, have more fulfilling relationships with themselves and with others, and are empowered to be deliberate creators of their existence and the solution to their challenges. I do this through acupuncture, cupping and the teaching of easily implemented transformational practices.
I have worked with diverse populations and areas of need including physical and emotional pain support, fertility, refugees, addictions, those with mental illness diagnoses, and those who desire acupuncture as a way to support their evolution of consciousness and maintain a harmonious balance of the body-mind-spirit.
