I am a Professional Medical Reiki Master/Teacher & Practitioner. I began my Medical Reiki practice in 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital’s, Cancer LifeNet Center. The program became so popular and successful; the center developed a Holistic Program and was awarded a grant by the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I saw first-hand the incredible healing power of this spiritual practice. Simple but profound!
I have studied and worked with Pamela Miles, a renowned Medical Reiki Master who pioneered the use of Reiki in conventional medicine. Ms. Miles has lectured in several medical schools across the country and has created in-hospital Reiki programs. She was invited to speak about Reiki on “The Doctor Oz Show” in January of 2010.
In addition to working with humans, in 2009 Animal Reiki became an important part of my practice and I specialize in Equine Reiki Therapy. I am currently working in several barns in and around Baltimore County, Harford and Carroll County.
