Cancellation Policy
Truth Mind & Body (“us”, “we”, or “our”) enforces a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services and therapists lose their portion of that service fee.
Provided that you have not ‘opted out’ of our correspondence, we will first ask you to confirm your appointments by email 72-hours in advance. If confirmation isn’t recieved, we will then ask again by text message 48-hours in advance. If confirmation still hasn’t been recieved, we will finally try to reach you by phone approximately 24-hours in advance. Why all this effort? Because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago!
Since the services are reserved for you personally, late cancellations with less than 24-hour notice and ‘no shows’ will result in a charge equal to the booked service amount.
The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our wait list guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members’ schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. Truth Mind & Body policies are created out of a need for fairness to all of our clientele as well as the welfare of our team members and business.
